Our Process

Collaborate on Expectations

Finding the right person is more than just hiring for a role. We partner with you to deeply understand what you are looking for in a candidate - we want to understand what the role will be, what your ideal expectations are for growth of this role, how you'd like the candidate to fit into or help curate your company culture and much more.

Using all of this, we develop a custom hiring plan in coordination with you. We'll ensure that you're involved in running the cultural and organizational fit while we handle logistics and validate that all candidates are technically sound.

Source from Data, Refine with AI

We know what it takes to be an early-stage employee at a fast growing company but we start our search using a proprietary algorithm that finds potential candidates based off of prior experience, company growth and tenure.

Our AI scours the web for each candidate and automatically pulls in blog posts, git history and social media presences to build a comprehensive profile that we use to augment the decision making process.

Test & Validate

We test all candidates as if we were hiring them ourselves. Our technical assessments are all custom curated specifically for the role and level that the person is being hired for and assessments are rotated often to prevent leakage online.

We look for more than just the ability to code simple functions in an online editor - we hone in on a candidate's ability to think abstractly while communicating clearly, to identify and use different forms of composition appropriately and how well they make judgement calls to prioritize where any why they spend their time.

Propose & Review

We provide you our thorough set of notes on each candidate, calling out strengths, potential weaknesses and areas that are worthy of additional followups.

By the time that we propose a candidate you can rest assured that they have been fully vetted. Before you make an offer, we interview three references to look for consistency between what we've learned during the interviews and what we hear from their colleagues.
